Whole-person care for your body, mind, and soul
You can book online by selecting the service that best matches what you’re looking for:
For physical health, hormones, digestion, energy, stress physiology, labs, prescriptions/supplements, and root-cause care.
For emotional healing, nervous system support, stress, anxiety, self-worth, boundaries, relationships, life transitions, and inner patterns.
Naturopathic medicine looks at the body as an interconnected system. In our visits, we will explore your symptoms, health history, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, hormones, digestion, lab work, and other patterns that can influence how you feel. Depending on your needs, care may include updated or additional lab work, nutritional, supplement, botanical, and lifestyle suggestions, as well as prescriptions when appropriate. Below are some of the areas I commonly support.
Digestive Health
Support for bloating, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, food sensitivities, gut imbalance, and ongoing digestive discomfort.
Hormones & Menstrual Health
Care for PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, irregular cycles, heavy bleeding, and hormone-related mood or energy changes.
Perimenopause, Menopause & BHRT
Guidance for hot flashes, sleep changes, mood shifts, brain fog or memory changes, low libido, vaginal dryness, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy when appropriate.
Fertility & Preconception
Support for cycle health, ovulation, egg quality, recurrent loss history, nutrient status, and preparing the body for pregnancy.
Metabolic Health & Weight
A whole-person approach to weight management, insulin resistance, blood sugar changes, cravings, emotional eating, inflammation, and sustainable nutrition strategies.
Fatigue, Stress & Burnout
Care for exhaustion, overwhelm, poor sleep, low motivation, and feeling like your body is running on fumes.
Book a naturopathic medicine visit to explore what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a clear plan for your next steps.
Counselling offers a supportive space to explore the emotional patterns, nervous system responses, core wounds, beliefs, and life experiences that may be shaping how you feel, relate, cope, and move through the world. These appointments are separate from naturopathic medical visits and focus on emotional healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
You May Be Seeking Counselling If
Counselling that honours your nervous system, your story, and the deeper patterns shaping your life.
Book a counselling session to begin exploring your emotional patterns, inner experiences, and what may help you move forward with more compassion and clarity.
If your main concern is physical health — such as digestion, hormones, fertility, fatigue, metabolism or weight concerns, lab testing, or a treatment plan involving nutrition, supplements, herbs, or prescriptions — naturopathic medicine is likely the best starting place.
If your main concern is emotional support, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, lacking direction or purpose, feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world, relationship challenges, binge eating or disordered eating behaviours, self-worth, stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself, counselling may be the better fit.
If you’re unsure, start by reading through both service sections above and choose the one that feels most aligned with what you’re needing right now.
In alignment with professional guidelines, my naturopathic medicine and counselling services are offered separately. This means I do not see the same person under both roles.
If you are already seeing me for one type of care and feel you may need support in the other area, we can discuss appropriate next steps, including referral options.
Yes, naturopathic medicine and counselling appointments are available online, depending on the nature of the visit and your location.
Some concerns may require in-person care, physical assessment, or lab testing. Appointment options are listed in Jane when booking online.
I practice at Thrive Natural Health in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada.
Appointments are available in person or virtually, depending upon the type of care you are seeking.
No referral is needed. You can book directly through Jane, our online booking site.
For naturopathic medicine, we direct bill many common extended health insurance providers.
For counselling, we do not direct bill. You will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider if your plan includes coverage for Registered Therapeutic Counsellors.
It is always best to check your individual plan before booking, as coverage varies.
Your first naturopathic visit is a chance to review your health history, current symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and any relevant lab work, as well as determine whether additional lab testing may be helpful. We explore patterns, possible root causes, and practical next steps.
Depending on your concerns, your plan may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, herbs, lab testing, prescriptions, or referrals when appropriate.
Counselling sessions offer a calm, supportive space to explore emotional patterns, life experiences, stress, grief, anxiety, self-worth, relationship dynamics, or behaviours that feel difficult to shift.
My approach is gentle, curious, person-centred, trauma-informed, and transpersonal, with the goal of helping you better understand yourself and move toward meaningful change.
Yes. Stress, emotions, nervous system patterns, habits, and subconscious beliefs can all influence physical health and behaviour change.
In naturopathic visits, we may explore how these pieces relate to your health goals. However, dedicated emotional processing and counselling work are offered separately through counselling appointments.

If you’re unsure which path is right for you, visit the Services page first and begin with the option that feels most aligned with your current needs.
Appointment lengths and fees vary depending on the type of visit you book. Current appointment options, fees, and availability are listed in Jane when you book online.
Your first visit is not about rushing into a plan or pressuring you into purchasing supplements or a long-term commitment to change. It is a chance to understand what has been going on, explore what you are hoping for and decide together what next steps feel realistic, supportive and aligned with your needs.
The number of visits depends on what you’re seeking support with, how long the concern has been present, and whether you’re booking naturopathic medicine or counselling.
For naturopathic medicine, some people come in for a specific concern and need only a few visits to create a plan, review labs, and make adjustments. Others choose ongoing support for more complex, chronic, or layered health concerns. Many people begin with monthly visits for several months, then space appointments farther apart as symptoms improve and goals are met.
For counselling, some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others benefit from a longer-term process as deeper patterns, emotions, and life themes unfold. Counselling often begins with more frequent sessions, such as weekly or every two weeks, before spacing out as new awareness, skills, and changes begin to integrate.
We can discuss what makes sense for you during your initial visit, and you are always welcome to move at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
